Im a veterinary technician at the Animal Service Center in Tallahassee, Florida. What a wonderful way to show the joys of shelter work! Im attaching pics of my girl Trulee, shes been a blessing to us and many others! Trulee was left in the holding pen at the shelter with a broken leg. She was in the shelter for 5 days(the rquired holding period). At the end of that time, she was scheduled for euthanasia due to her injury. I asked for a little more time with her, and a local veterinarian volunteered to fix Tru's leg for free. She has a pin in her leg, but you would never know it. I have had Trulee for 365 days and have enjoyed every one of them! The pictures are pictures from Tru's surgery and a picture of Trulee with my Grandpa, a cancer patient and self proclaimed anti-pet person! Trulee made his difficult time joyful and easier to deal with, she has a great way of making people smile.
