Kieran, a border collie/lab mix, adopted at 4 months old from the Dallas SPCA in Aug 1996 with about 4 days in the shelter, has lived with me ever since- approx 11 years or 4015 days. So 4/4015. I wanted to get a picture with his teeth showing- he came home with distemper, but the only long term problems have been loss of enamel. Here is a picture of Kieran and I kayaking at Hidalgo Falls near College Station, TX. He is a wading fisherman, playing the shallow edges trying to catch the little minnows.
