jake - black lab approx 2 years old, 3 days in dog pound on stray hold. "fostered" (code for you're staying) at our house for one week to recover from 3 canine extractions following getting jaw caught on cage door and fracturing 3 canine teeth during transport after being neutered at our facility. i told him everything would look different in 7 days if he'd just hang in there. counting those 7 days, 408 days of indescribable joy and counting.
"mable" - corgi/brittany spaniel mix - 8 months old, 1 day in shelter, 159 days of joy, chewing, and sleeping on the couch and counting !!
