The picture shows me (Michele Noreen, DVM), Brandy and Baron. In every picture of Brandy I have, she is looking into the camera (we are both looking at a person taking a different view of this pix) - Baron is the one with the goofy, happy face - typical. I rescued Brandy from a shelter, and she rescued me from life. The short of the long story, because of her, I became a veterinarian. The picture was taken on graduation day from NCSU-CVM. Baron came from the same shelter one year after Brandy and contributed to both of our lives with his happy go lucky attitude. He was my joker and palpation dog, both important for getting through vet school. There are other shelter pets in our home now, but these two defined my life.
