Ted was returned to our shelter for the third time, not because he was a bad dog but because no one ever trained him. He hid when people came into the adoption area, except when he heard my voice. I fell in love with him and ended up taking him home not knowing he was very sick. Within 24 hours we were at the Vet with a high fever and cough. After he recovered I discovered a diamond in the rough. He has learned a huge number of tricks and takes only an hour or so to learn new ones. He is loyal and loving. His new best friend is my 7 month old filly. She loves to chase him all over the pasture but he never chases her. When she is done playing she usually stops near him and gives him a bop on the head with her nose to say thanks that was fun. Ted also helps with foster babies that we bring home, he is a loving and nurturing big brother to all the kittens and puppies. I wouldn't trade him for a million dollars.
