Oregon Humane Society

This is a picture of my soul mate shelter dog, Libby, who was born the day my brother died of AIDS 10 and a half years ago. She was instrumental in getting me into sheltering as a career, and gives me credibility as a trainer, though the credit is mostly hers. She now assists me with dog assessments and some dog-to-dog behavior modification with the shelter dogs. The first picture is of her at the office with the awards she won for animal heroism in 2006 from Oregon Humane Society, the second is her with her two favorite things—water and her pink frisbee. We are currently at 3,715 days and counting, and I believe she had been at Oregon Humane Society for 5 or 6 days when I adopted her.
