Please understand that we cannot offer treatment advice nor provide answers to specific medical questions unless you are a veterinarian working in or providing assistance to an animal shelter. We encourage you to see your local veterinarian or a specialist on a professional consultation basis to get answers to your specific medical questions. The UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital also provides veterinary medical care on a fee-for-service basis. If you desire an appointment, please call (530) 752-1393 for small animals, and (530) 752-0290 for large animals during regular business hours.
