What model Wood's lamp do you recommend we use to screen for ringworm?

I listened to Dr. Newbury's excellent webinar recently on dermatophytosis   diagnosis and she recommended the Minresco Wood's lamp model UVL-21. I went to the website and there are 2 different models, each for $135.00- a 115 V and a 230V. Which model do you recommend?

Puppy and kitten adoption policy

I am the veterinarian at our local municipal shelter and was hoping to get some input on our puppy and kitten adoption policy.  Recently we have had a lot of discussion among our staff on when is the appropriate age to adopt out puppies and kittens.  We have the ability to do surgery in-house so this is not a hang up for us, however we want to do what it best in terms of socializing them appropriately and also do all that we can to protect them from disease.  Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated!
