Rescue (formerly branded as Accel) is a cost effective product that when used properly and at the correct concentration will safely and effectively clean dishes and litterboxes.

We had already been using Rescue (formerly branded as Accel) for cleaning.  In our kennel and ISO areas we were alternating days between Rescue/Accel and bleach.  Your recommendation is to put all the bleach in the laundry room and not use in animal spaces.  I am ready to make that leap – but I am wondering how we disinfect our dishes and litterboxes.
Currently, we fill a large tub with bleach and water (1:32).  Dishes and litterboxes are washed and soaked in the tub for 15 minutes and then washed again, rinsed and dried.
Should we now use Rescue/Accel and water in the tub to soak the dishes and litterboxes?  At a 1:64 dilution?

Thanks for your help!!

I would absolutely use Rescue/Accel in your tubs for soaking litter boxes and dishes.  You can use 2oz/gal (1:64) and soak for at least 10 minutes.  There is no need to rinse after taking the items out of the tub; simply allow them to dry.  Also, you can save money by mixing the Rescue/Accel and water in the tub with a lid and reusing the solution since the litter boxes and dishes have been washed before going into the tub.  You only need to mix a new batch of Rescue/Accel and water once a week instead of daily.
Please let me know if you have any further questions – and I’m excited that you’re ready to take the leap!
