Welcome! We've created these information sheets to provide guidance in management of the most common health related issues in shelters. Because many factors impact shelter animal health, the variety of subjects covered in these pages is diverse and includes behavioral and management suggestions as well as information about specific diseases. A new feature of this website is the "additional resources" displayed to the right of each information page (at least those for which we have additional information available.) Please check these out. We are constantly working to keep the information sheets up to date and useful - let us know if you find errors or have additional suggestions, and stay tuned for a handy tool we're working on to guide you to the sections of these pages most important for your particular shelter population.
